The pinnacle of the festival was the previous Sunday’s epic “Verdi Requiem” to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi. It can be safely said that the performance was one of the best Brisbane has ever seen... Audience members have hailed the performance as“sublime” and“glorious”.
